HANUMAN AIRLINES

Two Nepali adventurers set out on their ambitious mission to climb and then launch a paraglider from the top of Mount Everest and travel to an ocean they have never seen.  Follow their incredible journey that has seen them nominated for the prestigious National Geographic Adventurer of the Year award.
Directed by Hamilton Pevec, 26 minutes

ON THE TRAIL OF GENGHIS KAHN: THE LAST FRONTIER

Banff Awards: People's Choice Award
UOn an epic journey, Australian Tim Cope, his band of horses and his dog Tigon travel overland 10,000km from Mongolia to Hungary, following the footsteps of legendary warrior and nomad Genghis Kahn.  Cope visits distant parts of the world rarely seen, places on the cusp of modernity yet proud of nomadic traditions.  The Last Frontier captures the culmination of his three year journey, the crossing of the Carpathian Mountains.
Directed by Tim Cope, 46 minutes

THIS IS MY WINTER

Get a glimpse behind the scenes of a season with one of the world's finest snowboarders, Xavier de le Rue.  Dealing with dangers, lack of snow and the ups and downs of a winter spent skimming his board over steep and gnarly lines is all in a day's work for Xavier.
Directed by Guido Perrini, 28 minutes

REEL ROCK: RACE FOR THE NOSE

Banff Award: Radical Reels - People's Choice Award
Welcome to one of the wildest competitions known to man - the speed record on the Nose route of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park.  For 50 years the best climbers in the world have been one-upping each on the massive granite monolith, risking life and limb to shave mere seconds off the record time.

Directed by Nick Rosen and Pete Mortimer, 22 minutes

SECOND NATURE

An exploration of the abstract and extreme, Second Nature tests the limits of what is possible on a skateboard.  With only the sounds of the wind whipping past the camera and followed closely by fast moving vehicles, they reach speeds of over 50mph in the High Sierras of California.
Directed by Colin Blackshear, 6 minutes

BLUE OBSESSION

Beautiful and ever-changing ice-falls of Alaska's glaciers provide a stunning setting for some unusual ice climbing adventures. Follow one man's year long quest to capture the constantly changing environment of the Juneau Icefield.
Directed by Alan Gordon and Jordan Halland, 8 minutes

ALL I CAN: PERSEVERANCE

Big mountains and steep lines are the focus in this high energy excerpt from the award-winning feature film 'All.I.Can.' (note this is totally different footage from the other version shown in the other London programme).
Directed by Dave Mossop and Alec Crossland, 9 minutes
